Junior Jumpstart

In April, students enrolled in the Professional Development course sponsored a Junior Jumpstart event for young women in the community who are completing eleventh grade. The ten Judson students offered informational sessions on the college admissions process, and offered tips on how to seek out financial aid, how to make a good impression, and how to choose a career path based on personality and giftedness. A catered etiquette lunch, which helped students learn the basics of formal dining, was also included in the event. Twelve local high school students participated.
