Change for Change initiative relaunched

The Change for Change initiative, begun last year to address water issues in Perry County and around the world, is continuing this year. Judson faculty, staff, and students are given piggy banks and asked to save their change and donate it to the cause. Proceeds will be used to help families in Perry County who do not have potable water in their homes address that problem. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Watering Malawi, a Birmingham-based non-profit organization that digs wells and provides other sustainable water solutions in the African country of Malawi. Third year student Allison Copeland introduced the project to students and faculty during the weekly chapel service on November 18. Banks were distributed after the chapel service.
